StarPowerEurope AG is a Switzerland-based company established in May 2014 and is the European branch of StarPowerSemiconductor Ltd. located in Jiaxing, China, approximately 95 km southeast of Shanghai, which is a leading power module company.
Founded in 2005 with venture capital, StarPower designs and manufactures IGBT/MOSFET/IPM/FRD/rectifier and custom-designed modules for applications such as welding machines, inductive heating, UPS, EV, solar/wind power, and more. It conducts its production and testing in fully automated facilities covering a total of 70,700 square meters and certified with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and TS 16949 (automotive). With its Switzerland-based stock and logistics operations, it can provide fast product delivery to its customers in Europe.
In the last fiscal year, StarPower reached a record turnover of 80 million US dollars with its 400 employees. It invests heavily in research on new generation product technologies at its R&D center in Germany and continues its research on new test technologies, packaging, and power electronics materials.
